Privacy Policy
This explains exactly what we record when you use this website, why, and how to make us stop. Last updated 16 August 2026.
- We measure how our own website is used. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party tracker, and we never sell or share your data for advertising.
- We set one cookie, so that a returning visitor is recognised as the same person rather than a new one each time.
- We record your IP address, the pages you view, and roughly where you are.
- If you send us your name and number through the chat or a form, we keep them so we can reply — and from then on your earlier visits are linked to you.
- You can ask us to delete all of it, at any time, by emailing info@ovishatech.com. We do not need a reason.
Who we are
This website is operated by Ovishatech. We decide what is collected here and why, which under data-protection law makes us the “data controller” for it.
Contact us about anything on this page at info@ovishatech.com or +91 80803 40813. Our address is Baner, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
What we record automatically
Every visit to this site is recorded by our own software, running on our own servers. Nothing in this list is sent to a third-party analytics company.
| What | Detail | Why |
|---|---|---|
| IP address | Your full IP address, plus a one-way daily hash of it | Approximate location, and to stop the same machine flooding our forms |
| Pages | Which pages you view, in what order, how long you stay, and how far you scroll | To learn which pages are useful and which are ignored |
| How you arrived | The site or search that referred you, and any campaign tag in the link | To know which of our efforts actually bring people here |
| Device | Device type, browser and version, operating system, screen and window size | To make sure the site works on what people actually use |
| Location | Country and time zone. Not your precise location — we never ask your browser for that | To know which markets we reach, and whether anyone is around to reply |
| Actions | Buttons clicked, links followed off-site, and each question you answer in the chat widget | To find where people give up |
What you give us
The chat widget, the contact form and the strategy-call booking each ask for details so we can reply. We keep what you enter: your name, phone number, and — if you provide them — your email, company, project type, budget range, timeline and message.
Once you give us your name, the visits you made before that stop being anonymous. We link them to you, so we can see what you were interested in before getting in touch. We are telling you this plainly because most sites doing it do not.
If you choose to continue a conversation on WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp and is covered by their privacy terms as well as ours.
Why we are allowed to hold it
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and arranging work | Performing a contract, or taking steps at your request before one |
| Understanding how the website is used, and keeping it working | Our legitimate interest in running and improving our own business |
| Preventing spam and abuse of our public forms | Our legitimate interest in keeping the service usable |
| Recognising you across visits with the cookie | Your consent, where the law requires it — see “Your choices” below |
How long we keep it
| What | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Individual actions — page views, clicks, scroll depth | 90 days, then deleted automatically |
| Visit summaries and the visitor record | Until you ask us to delete it |
| Enquiries, bookings and messages | As long as we may need them for the work and our records, then deleted |
| Unfinished chat saved in your browser | 7 days, or immediately once the chat is completed |
Your choices and your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can object to us analysing your visits at all. You do not have to give a reason, and it costs nothing. Email info@ovishatech.com and we will act within 30 days.
We honour “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends either signal, we count the visit but set no cookie and never link it to your other visits. Most sites ignore these; we do not.
If you are in the UK or EU you may complain to your national data protection authority. In India you may complain to the Data Protection Board. We would rather you told us first — we will usually just fix it.
Children
This is a website for businesses hiring a software company. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we will change this page and update the date at the top. There is no archive of previous versions — if that matters to you, save a copy.
Email info@ovishatech.com, or use the contact form — whichever is easier.
